The breakfast by particularly excellent coffee.

Excellent staff, well-appointed and great-sized room with lovely big bathroom, very good facilites plus a sofa. Lovely location not too far away from Mere Museum. Really really nice stay in beautiful area. An excellent restaurant and an English bar available.

Convenient location - a short walk to everywhere we needed...

The staff were super friendly and really went the extra mile. Dinner was delish and the breakfast was great! Just a bit bummed the shower was a tad small, but everything else was spot on. Definitely recommend for a chill night away!

A good stay with surprises

Woke up to a delicious breakfast, expertly cooked to order. The staff's warmth. The Sunday carvery was excellent!

There was an unexpected challenge with the shower water not being hot and a few minor cleanliness issues upon arrival.

We used it as a base to visit Longleat and Stourhead. The room was comfy and well-equipped. The food was excellent, especially breakfast. Friendly staff.

The only downside was a noticeable smell from the bathroom due to the incinerator system. It wasn't a big deal, but worth mentioning.

I was irritated by the lack of heating , despite the chilly summer weather. The room felt uncomfortable at times, and it took ages to get to a decent temperature. The bathroom had a noticeable smell that lingered, quite unpleasant throughout the night. I expected better for the price paid.

The modern decor was a pleasant surprise for a pub setting. The cooked-to-order breakfast was delicious, and the Sunday carvery was a highlight of our visit. Especially Mark and Sam, were cute.

This was just an appropriate option for a date night in Mere with all in all great value for money. The best burger I have ever had when dining out made our evening special. Check the shower before using it for a smoother experience.

I loved my stay in the ‘Walnut’ room, it was super comfy and had everything I needed, including an amazing breakfast that hit the spot. There’s a cozy pub vibe that made relaxing easy. I enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating area with a nice drink after a long day. The only small downside was the heating not being on, but the room stayed warm enough, so no biggie. 🌟

I had an excellent one-night stay. The room offered great comfort, and the staff provided a warm welcome. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast! The drain noise in the bathroom was a slight distraction. A good experience in a lovely setting.
